The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation does not share any of your personal information with third parties (with the exception of Supportline mentor/seeker contacts as specifically requested by site visitors). The BMCF’s mailing lists (email and postal) are never sold to or shared with third parties, except to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws, police investigations, or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant.
The BMCF does allow access to database information by third parties providing technical services, such as email. In those instances, the third party is bound by these terms and have agreed to hold this information in confidence.
The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation does not maintain any of the information provided by donors on this website. All financial transactions are handled securely by PayPal, a PCI compliant site encrypted with obsolete cryptography and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Encryption keeps your contribution and payment information from being decoded by anyone other than the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation. All personal data is sent directly to The BMCF and maintained securely in our office database.
Our website also has security measures to protect it from spam and abuse. We use an advanced risk analysis engine to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on the site.

This Child Safety Standards Policy (the “Policy”) demonstrates the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation’s unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. It outlines the actions, roles, and responsibilities required to protect children and comply with legislative requirements. Policy outlines our commitment to comply with regulations such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and similar laws globally, as well as Google Play’s Child Safety Standards. This policy applies to all aspects of our mobile app, from design and development to operation and maintenance.
This Policy applies to all individuals associated with the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation, including board members, staff, volunteers, contractors, consultants, and anyone engaged in activities involving children and young people. It covers all programs, events, and services where children are present or may be impacted.

With rising cancer rates, our work has never been more important. All donations for the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation go to services that directly help cancer patients, survivors, and families. The Foundation relies 100% on private donations. We depend on individual and corporate donors, as we don’t receive government or public funding.
